I was born in San Francisco, CA into a military family. I was raised by a nutritionist mother and a teaching father, and spent the majority of my life living in Brownsville, TN just outside of Memphis. I was raised in a Christian household, but did not give my life to Christ until I was 16 years old. When I went to college, however, I did what most young men do. I made bad decisions. It wasn’t until I was in my junior year that I was given a life changing moment. I started serving as a staffer at Deer Run Retreat. While serving there my spiritual foundation was set; I first felt the call to ministry; and was blessed in meeting my wife, Tiffany- who continues to challenge me and sharpen me each day.
After college, I moved to Middle Tennessee and started working as an English teacher and a coach. I continue to work as a teacher now at Summit High School in Thompson’s Station. In 2015, I started serving the students on Wednesdays and was eventually offered a ministry position to continue working with the students.
I’m honored to have the opportunity to serve with a great staff and serve a great congregation.
I work with students in middle school and high school. My work is to help students find their identity in Christ through discipleship, relationship building, small group discussion, and service.
